Utah requires all OHV operators to complete the Utah Off-Highway Vehicle Education Course before operating on public lands. It's free, it's online, it takes about an hour, and it's a one-time lifetime requirement. Complete it before your trip and save your certificate digitally. Bring it to pickup.

Out-of-state riders: this applies to you the moment your machine is on Utah public land. No exemption for Nevada, California, Arizona, or anywhere else. One hour of your time before the trip saves zero headaches at the shop.

Required for everyone.
We provide them. Wear them right.

Helmets are required for all operators and passengers under Utah OHV law — no exceptions. We provide helmets with every rental and we fit them properly at pickup. Don't skip the fitting process. A loose helmet in a tip-over provides no protection. We'd rather spend two extra minutes on fit than anything else.

Eye protection is equally important. Dust and debris at riding speed will impair your vision without goggles. We provide them. Use them.

Stick to permitted routes.
It’s not worth wandering.

Utah's public lands are managed by multiple agencies and not every road or trail is OHV-legal. We'll give you route guidance at pickup for legal, approved trails in the area. Going off-route risks fines, land damage, and terrain beyond the machine's capability. Follow the guidance and your day stays clean.

Ride legal.
Ride smart.
Ride again.

Complete the Utah OHV course before your trip, bring your certificate, and we'll have the machine ready when you arrive.
